Financial geniuses are speaking to Congress... Bwahahahahaha
I was just eating dinner and watching some financial geniuses on CSPAN2 speaking to ... the Congressional Finance Committee? Something like that - and here are a few examples of the superior knowledge they were imparting on the rest of us idiots. Gosh, you must have to go to Harvard or Yale to know these kinds of things! (Heavy, heavy sarcasm here).

Because of this financial downturn, people may feel (feel? It's HAPPENED, you f-ing morons!) that they can't retire yet, and may work longer. They also may not buy big-ticket items, like cars or refrigerators.

It's also not smart to have a lot of your 401K in one stock, like the company you work for.

And golly, if this is happening near the beginning of your career, you may be able to recover much more quickly; but if it's near the end of your career, it's going to be a bigger problem.

WOW! Maybe I should've taped this shit! God help us all... this is why I went out and painted late this afternoon, in an attempt to at least temporarily forget about all of this... obviously that only worked for a little while. :^)

Call me whatever you like for adding this (the lyrics below, that is), but we could use some of this right now... maybe 'bama getting in there will at least HELP the f-ing situation, eh?

Well yes..but for some of us that is unavoidable, since that's how my company "matches" my contribution percentage.
