My brother told me this today and said that was all he needed to know to vote for Obama.

He said there were about 900 students in that graduating class.

2. Watching with friends last night

They tivo-ed the debate so we were able to stop it every couple of minutes to discuss what they were saying. (Took two hours to just get through the first hour of debate.) One of the things we remarked on was his total lack of critical thinking skills about the issues. This wasn't just a third-rate politician dancing around the issues, this was someone who had no f--ing clue how to approach them intellectually.

9. With that low standing, getting orders to flight school was nearly

impossible unless your daddy was an admiral. After busting several perfectly good airplanes, he got assigned to fly A-1 Skyraiders. That is a WWII propeller attack aircraft that we unloaded on the South Vietnamese Air Force. Standing in flight school class determines choice of duty assignments. He had to finish pretty low at Pensacola to get that plum assignment.

Last week I heard a presentation by a retired Navy captain who worked with Butler in San Diego. Butler told her he had things about McCain that would curl your hair but, without documentation, he wouldn't repeat them for public consumption.
