There's a huge irony in their fear:

I used to run into Hank Shocklee (one of driving forces behind Public Enemy) fairly often in my professional life. Naturally, he's a very nice man... gentle, courteous, professional, extremely intelligent, humorous, generous and well, again... just real nice.

I've run into quite a few Freeper type Repukes in my life as well. Let's just say that this 40-something year old white guy would MUCH prefer to live on a black planet than, well a Freeper planet!
