as do many people on this site. I saw a wonderful thread this morning in GD: Presidential hailing Clinton supporters for their steadfast support of Obama. Personally, I was a Kucinich voter, then a Edwards supporter. But, I will always be a Democrat.

To me, it is not about the individual, but about the issues that the Democratic party espouses. You would never catch me supporting the Republican platform, regardless of how I felt about the Democratic presidential nominee.

That being said, I am a firm Obama supporter. I may not agree with all of his positions, but I have no doubt that he will be a significant part of the change I want to see in the world (thanks Ghandi!). I have great respect for him as a man, and as a politician. More so every day.
