Several Observations:

1. McCain is going to simultaneously fix the economy, the healthcare system, education, manage the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan (and Iran, Pakinstan and North Korea if necessary), buy up ALL the bad mortgages, put troops in Darfur (and if needed, in Russia), develop all sorts of alternative energy sources...but he's NOT going to raise taxes? *sniff sniff* BULLSHIT.

2. Palin is stumping that the economic crisis is because of people living beyond their means, but McCain says its because of the greed on Wall Street, and is going to buy up the bad mortgages..maybe those two need to have a little sit down, and get their stories straight.

3. "THAT ONE"? Beyond fucked up.

4. McCain kept talking about his ability to "reach across the aisle" but wouldn't even shake Obama's hand afterward. Hmmm. Let the record show that Johnny doesn't play well with others.

5. The one good thing I can say to mcCain's credit is that he did NOT use the term "Maverick".

1. Did Anyone Else Notice The Audience?

The audience seemed to be more receptive of Barack Obama than McSame. Several times I noticed sour looks on the audience when McSame was speaking at them. I did not see that when Obama spoke to them. Or was it just me?

2. I was keeping a closer watch on the focus group ratings...

on CNN. They were DEFINITELY more receptive to Obama on nearly EVERY question. I think the only one where McCain did slightly better was the question about Russia.

4. I noticed that McCain tried several lame attempts at humor....

but only got a laugh once...everything he said seemed to fall flat.

5. I noticed one lady shaking her head when McSame talked about entitlements

He was clearly suggesting that SS and medicare would have to be cut, and the look on her face was an emphatic "No way!"

Damn brokaw! Inserting that as one of the three issues was slimy. I had to mute again after that ...How about a "wall street bail-out" as an entitlement? discuss?
