5. Here in WV there are billboard for "Carbon Neutral Coal" here and there.
Every time I see one I think, "Oh, yes, carbon neutral CARBON. Yeah, right." :eyes:

the cretaceous period into the modern atmosphere is dangerous.

9. It's doable, but we haven't done it yet.
It pretty much IS bullshit. Clean coal usually refers to removal of co2, if I'm recalling properly. They aren't removing Mercury, which is a big problem. Among other things.

Like it or not Coal mining and coal fired powerplants supply thousands of jobs. And it's not radioactive....

"Clean coal" doesn't address poisoned creeks and groundwater, the people who get unusual cancers, or the children who are always sick.
