As you know, I'm a big Michael Savage fan.

But I stumbled upon this show yesterday and was quite entertained for a few minutes.

The Savage Weiner said that George W. Bush led us into a war based on lies, and is directly and solely responsible for the deaths of over four thousand American troops.

He also explained that George W. Bush, not Barney Frank, is solely and directly responsible for the ongoing economic crisis.

How long has this been going on?

And while I can't stomach him for long, I have heard him rip apart Shrub, Limbaugh, Hannity, etc.

And he attacks McCain on a regular basis.

The guy is a general nut. I caught his show for a few minutes the other day and he was advocating for a new Cold War with Russia, claiming that it was important for our national security and good for the economy. I guess the risk of atomic war is acceptable as long as his 401k is getting good returns.

I listen to a local political show every day (fairly neutral format, just dealing with local city/county issues) and Savage is on right afterward. I probably hear about 30 minutes of his show a week, and what I hear ranges from unabashed paranoia to xenophobic nationalism. He considers both parties to be pushing the same agenda, and doesn't promote either (he's convinced that Obama is a plant designed to take down the US).

Like I said, he's a nut.
