I've seen it on tv. There's one rally where she's in white and the signs are white and as the camera pans back, it's a see of white.

It struck me as a graphic artist, choosing white was very deliberate. The question is, why was it chosen? What is it they are trying to say about their campaign?

Especially after Labor Day! Maybe Palin wearing white is supposed to symbolize purity, goodness, "angelic", while she spews lies, fear & insinuations. Or maybe it's a racist ploy, to make people think of McCain/Palin as the "white" ticket. (Ugh.) Or maybe it's a combination of both. They're definitely pulling out all the stops now, which means they're pretty desperate. But outside the 19% of mouth-breathers, I doubt most people care about Ayers or terrorist insinuations while the country is in the midst of a financial crisis.

The white signs would be part of the mood has well...and not just as a color in the flag. If you're inclined to think of the color white as a symbol of all things positive...then all things white will carry a positive connotation to you.

Course, white could have just been the cheapest color to print on....

Still, this was a political rally for a party that has already stated it isn't about the issues...it's about personalities...so the marketing of that personality would get attention to detail...and those things that play on a person's perceptions would be part of those details.

I read the book by Raymond, not sure of first name, but it was titled "How to Rig and Election", and in it he states that when ever there was a lull or a part of the speech that was falling flat, he was the guy that would get everyone to start the chant. It was a way to fill time.
