I just heard on CNN that Joe Biden's mother-in-law passed away.

I just heard on CNN that Joe Biden's mother-in-law passed away.

3. I suspected she was very very ill, and when I heard she's been in
a hospice and they were both rushing to be with her, this is what I expected to hear. My sympathies are with their family.

9. The first comment there is really telling
of the slimeballs that are cheerleaders for the right. The fact that jerks post crap like that is the reason that I don't like that many news sites allow visitors to comment about the stories. Just vile, slimeball crap.

12. I believe we are adult enough to read those kinds of comments ...
... without losing our own sense of what's right and wrong.

I see comments like that as an opportunity to teach people that free speech is protected for everyone, including morans.

15. That didn't take long!
Anyone wanna bet on when Gov. Palin will offer her condolences? No takers? I thought not.

Biden's actions are what I expect of any mature leader during a stressful time: focus on what's really important, and have competent substitutes (e.g., Sens. Clinton and Bayh) take over the less important activities in the meantime.
