I'm talking about Toad's (and most say Sarah's too) association with that separatist party in Alaska?

2. I think so--Charles Keating, McCain's gambling/casino ties, and the AIP--all

valid stuff. I would think people would like to know that McLoser was up to his eyeballs in losing people billions of dollars, and that Sarah Palin sleeps with a secessionist.

6. You betcha!
Alaska Independence Party -- her husband was a card-carrying member for years, and she gave a warmly welcoming address to them this year -- as the Governor of Alaska -- which, last time I checked, was a state of the USA.

McCain's association with Hagee -- yech. And sitting on a board with ultra-right wingers who have been condemned by the ADL as anti-Semites.

Palin's association / laying on of hands by / a Kenyan witch doctor.

Yes, I think all of these associations need to be brought out.

They want to instill FEAR in the electorate. And it is a tried and true tactic. It will work even better because Obama is black (enough) -- and somehow blacks are viewed as naturally less patriotic, naturally scarier.

So scare 'em right back. Show the most extreme statements of the people who McCain and Palin have palled around with for the last 20 years. Make it as scary as you can. It *is* scary -- and if they want to play that game, we have to hit back.

I don't like it. I would not have suggested going there. But you gotta give as good as you get. And McCain's hands, and Palin's hands, are not clean.

7. Counter with Drill, Baby, Drill = Spend, Baby, Spend failed policy
The terror people are facing is the economy. Palin's Drill, Baby, Drill was born out of the failed policy to Spend, Baby, Spend after 9/11. It's the idea that one should spend, borrow, go in debt, use up all the resources, don't worry about tomorrow. It's the don't think, just listen to us and follow us into a Republican nightmare every bit as scary as the Administration and Palin's throwing around of the word "terrorist". Palin's comments are "gutter politics" and should be referred to as such as the Obama campaign did.
