5. I had a long chat with my sister and her husband in upstate New York

this morning. She always votes for Democrats but she's not a political animal. I could not believe her enthusiasm. Everyone they know is voting for Obama. Her hubby said that all but one of their 'not so fond of the black guy' associates have all changed their minds and are voting for Obama/Biden. He told that one person that he may as well buy a hood.

I'm still worried about their October surprise but things are looking good.

26. Not writing much

My girlfriend was diagnosed with MS back in November and moved in with me shortly thereafter. We recently moved again to a better place. I am her primary care-giver now, which isn't a tremendously big deal because the MS hasn't disabled her too significantly, but it has all been a big change/challenge/responsibility. The writing is on the shelf until I can get myself back into a working routine, which I'm aiming to finish recapturing soon.
