2. Two Advanced Ballots from Kansas (me and my husband)

And usually I vote the entire Democratic ticket but this time I have abstained from voting for the Democratic Senator candidate. I can't do it. I tried but I just can't. The Dem running used to be my state rep and then my congress critter and he advocated a highway project that would destroy pristine wetlands, disturb the burial site of over 1,000 American Indian children (which the DOI admitted to us in letter) and take away more land from Haskell Indian Nations University. I have been working to stop this project for 23 years and am deathly afraid that he will push for it again.

He and his developer buddies have been wanting this project since 1985 and I have been fighting them for 23 years. In fact, it was because of him and the highway project that I went to law school. If I vote for him, I am voting against my conscious. I can't do it. fwiw, I think my husband voted for him.

5. Yep. Count me in. I mailed my Ohio absentee ballot

yesterday.

Straight Dem; didn't even vote for three Repubs who were unopposed (judges). They're not getting my vote.

neighbor's house with the ballot envelope so they could witness my signature. They asked if that made them Democrats now ;)

I'm just returning from Europe on Nov. 3rd and that's too close for comfort, so I'm doing the absentee ballot. So even if I'm captured by Basque terrorists while I'm in Hondaribbea (sp?) or San Sebastian I'll be assured that my vote was cast! :rofl:
