Former Diebold Contractor Blows The Whistle On Election Manipulations
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKnIghBsU58

R has an exclusive interview with former Diebold contractor Chris Hood which talks about many disturbing actions by Diebold during prior elections, including illegal, uncertified and unreported patches, and improper feeding of tabulation results by Diebold Chief Bob Urosevitch. This interview was prepared for a major news program special that was supposed to air two weeks before the 2006 midterm election. At the last moment, however, the special was killed by the corporate media. Check out this important ten minute interview. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKnIghBsU58

3. Paper ballots, DAMNIT!
This is it. Our last minute of hope to have the election honesty restored. We screamed about this in 2003. I remember watching November 2003 arriving with hope that the tainted system would be reversed. But no.

WHY THE HELL ARE WE NOT PRINTING PAPER BALLOTS NOW!?

6. and our crack team of congressional "democrats" have done what,
exactly, to restore integrity to America's fraudulent election system?

-crickets-

Oh, yeah. How could we expect them to worry about this when they were too busy with their "real" agenda? After all, they gave king george unrestricted war powers to illegally invade Iraq. They repeatedly voted to fund bush boy's illegal occupation. They helped pass the PATRIOT Act and its extention. They took justice off the table. They were busy not restoring our lost civil liberties. They were also just overwhelmed by the task of not ending bush boy's tax giveaways to the rich. They had their hands full with not implementing badly needed re-regulation of financial markets. Not trying to fix our broken health care system was more than a full-time job. But they did manage to carve out four whole days of work to pass the biggest supply-side giveaway to fat-cat bankers in US history.

Great work, "democrats"!

10. Once more WITH FEELING: It doesn't matter how many Democrats register and vote if the voting
machines are controlled by the OPPOSITION. Which they are.

Nothing is going to be done about this. Right now, the Obama campaign and the Democratic Leadership are like teenagers shooting Rats at the city dump. They kill a few, congratulate themselves on being sharpshooters, and have a great time, but the Rat population goes about its business and multiplies in numbers.

coming from the monies of the BailOut.

The Repugs needed that Bailout so they could replace the kind of money that DeLay was once out there raising for them.

And if they have any left, they will use THAT to ensure that the local Registrar of Voters in every County they need are all bought and paid for.

Remember, we still pretty much have the FBI under the direction of the Bush Dept of Justice - and under that system, I was not even able to REPORT corrupt election activity in Marin County in 2004.

16. Wow. That is news to me about Marin County, but not surprising at all.
It is stupefyingly crazy that the Democrats seem to think this is like the "Boogie Man". Close your eyes, pull the covers up over your head, and it will go away.

It's obvious that they are trying to address the myriad occurrences of registration irregularities but the silence regarding the voting machine tabulations is DEAFENING.

Why? I don't want to get all conspiratorial, so I'm not going there.

I feel totally helpless. Kind of like watching a child walk out in front of a moving car when you are too far away to do anything about it. Just sickening.

13. The 2006 election was good in many ways, but bad in one:
I confess to thinking/hoping that if there were so many close races, all of which Democrats won, the people who rigged the machines in 2004 might have decided not to interfere in non-Bush elections. I was wrong, I know, so please don't flame me. It's just that the 2006 election results were such a surprise and such a relief.

I may not be the only one who was foolishly optimistic that way, which might explain why even the Democratic leadership, who have the most to lose (other than voters in general do, of course, but I mean compared with Republicans), don't take this stuff as seriously as they ought to.

Seriously though... I'm sick of the denialists saying "Well, if there's all this election fraud, wouldn't there be whistleblowers?"

Well DUH! Then the denialists claim the whistleblowers are 'disgruntled' or some other shit. WAKE THE FUCK UP PEOPLE.
