McCain's future career
Assuming Obama wins in November, what will McCain do? He'll never be the GOP nominee again. He shows little interest in his Senate work. I suspect he'll just quit, possibly even retire before his seat is up for reelection, and go off to enjoy his wife's money.

Come to think of it, McCain will be doing much the same even if -- horror! -- he wins in November.

5. Retire at end of term
Play golf, and get lots of money in speakers fees. Either that or teach at the Naval Academy (irony of ironies).

8. McCain's Senate Seat is up in 2010
He'll be 74.

My guess is he'll retire, but he'll probably win re-election if he runs for a fifth term.

9. What future?
Maybe life support in ICU or something. I literally don't think he's going to live this down.
