I think I was the FIRST person on DU to point out that Palin's entire style (hair, glasses, demeanor) is carefully contrived to imitate the stereotypical soft porn character of the teacher/librarian seductress ... an archetype that was trite even when I was an adolescent. It's actually laughable .. it's so contrived and obvious. It's also completely consistent with the halted emotional and psychological development she presents. It seems both she and her husband are stuck in the high school motor-head and beauty-queen stereotype.
