Palin, in the Debate, reminded me of someone responding as if they had been hypnotized.

Palin did not answer the questions but behaved as if she was responding to "trigger words". He response was excellently rehearsed, too rehearsed I'd say...She also was blank in any emotion with her responses and unresponsive to Joe Biden's emotion with the loss of his wife/daughter.

My wife, who had not seen her speak, agreed that when she was winging it, she had her usual "you-betch-ya" animated way of speaking. When she was reciting her programmed responses, she was like a statue and seemed to have lost her accent somewhat. It made us wonder if they tried to tone down the accent, but she couldn't pull it off when not reciting the repug lines?

10. What I noticed...

...is after every one of her scripted responses to one of Ifill's questions (whether on point or not), after she had delivered it, she would gulp. It was quite plain to see, actually. As if she had taken a deep breath, delivered the memorized bit, then gulped in relief (that's how I interpreted it).
