New Obama Ad: "Can't Explain"

The Obama camp has already released a 30-second TV ad focusing on health care that uses clips from last night's vice presidential debate. The ad will air "across the country on national cable beginning today," according to the campaign.

What I'm wondering is, exactly how McGoo's "tax credit" is supposed to work?

I am already paying $4500 a year in premiums directly from my paycheck. The total annual cost of my healthcare coverage is $15,000 leaving $10,500 as the part my employer pays (which I earn).

So, is his idea to simply not tax $5000 a year of my income so I can buy my own family health coverage with that $5k? Hell, I already have $4500 untaxed under section 125, so exactly wtf does he think he's offering? And, sans my health plan from work, just where the hell am I suppose to get the other $10k?
