Obama by 10 Points in New Hampshire---Rasmussen
Edited on Fri Oct-03-08 09:30 AM by louis c
New Hampshire is important to me. The Massachusetts AFL-CIO has targeted New Hampshire for campaigning. I have spent 4 days campaigning up there. We have nearly 20,000 Mass. members in New Hampshire and we try to make personal contact with each one. Our job is to high light the difference between Obama and McCain and what that difference means to working people, especially union members. Our efforts are coordinated with the New Hampshire AFL-CIO as well as other local affiliates. On October 11, the IBEW will be contacting our own members in New Hampshire in a massive door to door walk up there. This latest poll is very encouraging, as it is tangible proof that our efforts are helping. I hope other DUers will give a day of phone banking or walking in your swing state. If, like me, your state is safe, adopt a swing state and put some effort there. This election is very winnable and I'm in the mood for a win.

1. Great news,
now we have to focus on the Senate races--we need 60 or winning the White House will be greatly diminished. Haven't seen any threads on the senate races.

2. We're working for Shaheen, too
Jean Shaheen is running about 6 to 10 points ahead of Obama, so she's got to be up about 15 to 20. She's actually coatailing him, rather than vice versa. They really love her in the Granite State.
