Tweety came up with a good question: Why did the right stop talking about immigration.
That was their big meal ticket a year ago. But the discussion seems to have dried up. Any takers on why this is?

But likewise, I'm surprised they haven't argued something along the lines of "The economy is the way it is because illegal Mexican immigrants are stealing American jobs."

3. Exactly. It still seems like an obvious push for their side.
I just found it odd that they dropped it so abruptly.

redneck racist faction wants "them" rounded up and driven across the border

money boss- faction wants to hire them for $5 an hour..


Mccain needs BOTH parts of the party or he loses..

(but then he's gonna lose in either case)

5. They still want Hispanic voters in this election
Karl Rove said they couldn't win without Hispanics on board. "The Base"wouldn't hear of it. In the beginning they thought legal Hispanics would side with them and want illegals deported. Didn't happen.
