So is Gates doing a good job a Sec of Defense?
Rumor has it Obama will keep him in place. Should he do that? It is a given that Obama will have some Republicans in his Administration, should Gates be one of those?

8. I guess if it really works that way
where politicians with ties to voting machine cos actually have sway over how the vote tally is counted, I'd rather have that guy on our side since Dems and Reps alike are too cowardly to change things.

Hagel's been a solid voice of reason about Iraq and Middle East policy for some time now though and I don't see him as someone who would irrationally push for war without some sort of valid intelligence to back it up.

but I think right now he's just an appendage of the Bush Regime.

I'd rather Obama make a change.
