That's when I found that some people at a place called "Air America Radio" were talking about the way I felt. I started learning more about issues and the names of far more political figures and pundits than I had ever dreamed possible. I can't imagine the pressure of carrying a whole nation's expectations. You're essentially public property for the duration of your aspiration and term. Not health.

ETA: Can you imagine being the therapist of a President? God knows, they probably need it, but can't see one for fear of public disapproval. Wouldn't it be weird to be the president's therapist?

8. Yes, and it's really stressing me out

I'm preoccupied to a degree that's probably unhealthy and should impose at least one 'news-free' night a week. My mom and sister (both also big Dems) are the same way, so at least I'm in good company.

Will need a 12-step program when it's all over.
