My wife got an email today about the Obama birth certificate

question. I cannot believe people are still sending this sort of crap. Anyhow, she asked for my inputs for a response - and here's what is going out 'reply all'

My guess is that whoever sent the email re Obama citizenship has done absolutely no research themselves, and probably will not take the time to go to the link provided. This search took me less than two minutes, and there are many more.

One wonders why this person doesn’t send you emails regarding McCain and his infidelity (he was chasing his current wife while still married to his first one) or his crashing four aircraft prior to the one which led to his capture, or how he left his first wife because she was disfigured from an auto accident while he was a POW, or how he has voted against every bill but one that would increase veteran benefits, or that he finished in the bottom five of his graduating class at the Naval Academy, or anything to do with the Keating Five and the Savings and Loan bailout of several years ago, or why McCain did not wear a flag pin at the debates last week (didn’t you get an email about an Obama pin from the same person who sent you this recent Obama birth certificate thingy?)

Hey, let’s start on Palin. I don’t know where to begin. Let’s talk lies and exaggeration. The Bridge to Nowhere that she says she turned down was actually something she was for prior to the nation-wide uproar, and she kept the money to use for other projects. The jet she said she sold on ebay was actually sold by a broker for a substantial monetary loss to the Alaska taxpayers. The Russian planes that she touts as being intercepted under her guidance actually have nothing to do with a governor but in fact are under the aegis of NORAD, and they don’t notify any governor at all. Additionally, there have been no incursions into Alaskan airspace by Russian aircraft in over 20 months. I have more, and they are easy to find.

Tell this person to go to the link. It even has a birth announcement from the Honolulu Advertiser. I imagine your friend will think it’s part of a conspiracy by Obama’s grandparents to trick the nation 40 + years in the future.

If dumb were painful, many people would need pain pills.
