First priorities after the Dems win the congress and White House in an avalanche
1. Make Hillary the Senate Majority Leader and make Barney Frank the Speaker of the House.

2. Invade the Cayman Island's banks, seize all the stolen, off-shore loot and use it to pay off the national debt.

3. Send Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld et al to the Hague to stand trial for war crimes.

4. Donate Newt Gingrich to Macys to be used as a balloon in their next Thanksgiving parade.

5. Put Karl Rove in a cage in the Smithsonian to remind Americans of the dangers of pure evil.

6. Build a monument of Tina Fey as a reminder of ReThug insanity.

Please feel free to add your own recommendations to this list.

1. #1 should be
1) Repeal the telecommunications act, revoke all media licenses and resell them at an auction with terms that eliminate the right wing control of the media.

Because until we make the media less biased, nothing progressives do will ever last.

...so that every state does it the same way. Outlaw the privatization of election counting software and implement fully transparent, open source voter software solutions.

Prosecute all members of the Bush administration who broke the law.

3. We need a new Taft-Hartly Law
We must break up the mergers and monopolies that have been created in the last 25 years. ANY institution that is "too big to fail" it TOO BIG TO EXIST! Why should the Government (ie. taxpayers) be held hostage again and again to these corrupt predators?

4. Renounce the Bush Doctrine
Close Gitmo, propose repealing the Military Commissions Act and rewriting the Patriot Act.

Announce to no deal reached between Mr. Bush and the Iraqi government on security that was not approved by Congress will be honored.

Appoint a special prosecutor to look into Bush Admin crimes, to include war crimes.

If no economic rescue plan has been reached by January 20, propose one that will give assistance to home owners and other victims of Bush Admin/corporate scams while repealing Bush tax cuts to the upper 1% to pay for it and universal health care.
