Poll question: How will the GOP steal the 2008 presidential election?
Edited on Wed Oct-01-08 04:43 AM by ColbertWatcher
Polls show Obama is leaving McCain/Palin in the dust.

Wall Street is panicking, Dumbya is hiding and everyday brings another example of how bad the GOP ticket really is.

The only way for the GOP to steal the election is to get the poll numbers back within the margin of error.

What will they pull to manipulate the polls back within reach of a Diebold scam?

1. I would prefer you say how will they try, instead of assuming it as a fait accompli.
You seem to already think it will happen. That's pretty defeatist.

2. They're still in power.
They will steal it.

We just have to catch them in the act and hold them accountable.

I'd rather hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

3. Frankly I am seeing the big issues that face us as beyond partisanship.

I think our election system is fraudulent through and through and we have only been permitted
to eat at the table providing we order from their menu.

As was recently said by Kevin Phillips on Moyer's show after outlining how both parties pushed the policies that got us here (paraphrasing) - "It might be a good thing if the Dems take the White House but won't make all that much difference really. They are all part of the same system and all bankrolled by the same companies (with few exceptions)."

5. Not a meme. I have a list of very specific concerns about what I'm seeing from him already.
And that list seems to grow.

I have no doubt things would be more palatable with him in the White House, but that's all
I can honestly say at this point.

I've seen McCain move unnaturally to the right to please his constituents, and I think Obama
may be more conservative and status quo than many are expecting.

6. Hey... they're afraid WE are planning to steal the election and they're
taking steps to make sure we don't. I think this is good.

7. The GOP always accuse us for the crap they're planning.
If they say they're afraid we're going to steal the election, that just means they are already planning it!

10. I voted for San Diego, but:
I really think it will happen in Washington DC. November 9.
It will be like counting backwards, won't it. 10-9-08, 7.06 AM...
By 5.43 PM they'll know who to blame, and by 2.10 AM next morning there'll be Martial Law.

Then Bush will prez for evah, and all of you will be screwed to the bone. As we in Europe.
