Here's a novel idea RE: credit crisis. Maybe the Dems should offer a Democratic plan instead of
trying to appease the corporatists and serve their interests and get the Wall Street GOPers to sign on by further hurting working people. I know, they don't have much practice and offending their corporate funders is surely way far down on their to-do list, but maybe putting the interests of the people first instead of second might be a winning strategy. A novel idea, but who knows? After all, Roosevelt won re-election more than once, assuming that is their primary motivation, even though Big Money tried to off him in many ways, and more than once.

6. And begin measuring support by numbers of people served rather than dollars received?
Now that postulate would probably explode a brain or several among those who pose as being on our side.

Worth the clean-up services, with all due sympathy for the families.

2. Holy Moley..What a concept!. Maybe they should talk with Dennis Kucinich.
He seems to be one of very few that is truly interested in "Main Street".

3. I've suggested that a couple of times myself
And I'd drop over in a dead faint if they actually did it. It would mean finally acting like the majority instead of kissing Bush**'s ass, something they enjoy too much.

4. Why do you hate America?
Why wreck the party with common sense?

Charles Schumer has decided that substantial tax cuts would be "a brilliant idea" at this point. And you want to second guess that kind of bold leadership?

Get back to your television citizen! Your brain is clearly not fully cooked yet.

5. Are you trying to suggest that actually put the interests of the American People ahead of the
Corporate Parasites? The GOP and DLC would rather burn in hell than do that.
Why do you think Big Bill is so shy of praise for Obama?

8. Yeah. A novel and improbable idea, I know,
But maybe there are a few, maybe enough, who are getting a bit tired of licking corporate butt and maybe rather afraid of being exposed as a con artist and ending up as a corporate flunky instead of a mover-and-shaker. That assumes some sense of pride, of course.

7. god forbid they actually did something to appeal to the holdouts in our own party
. . . instead of appeasing the House republicans.

9. I think that is what they are doing...
I think the first one was meant to fail...because they wanted what Obama wanted, which is what Dennis K wanted too...a bill that helps the bottem-up...instead of top-down...
