I'm sick of hearing about Alaska. "Alaska this" & "Alaska that"

We have never heard so much talk about one state. When Bill Clinton first ran for Prez, it wasn't "Arkansas this" and "Arkansas that". :banghead:

It's particularly annoying hearing it in Palin's nasally accent.

I think the romantic image a lot of people had of Alaska, the one promoted by cruise lines and the old tv show Northern Exposure, has been seriously damaged. Americans are getting a negative view of Alaska as a backwater state filled with corruption and religious zealots.
