And I've come to the opinion that the ones who get disowned by their peers and persecuted by the press are the ones who made the mistake of deciding to go against the code of silence. Sort of like Frank Serpico in the NYPD. I am not saying Traficant is just like Serpico. But I am saying that anytime I see happen to one of these slime bags that happened to Traficant I am inclined to believe at this time that he's really being persecuted for breaking the code of silence. Thus, whatever they're saying that's controversial appears to be some truth coming out in my opinion.

No I don't see Cunningham that way. I never said that I am defending the slimy actions from Traficant or others such as Cunningham. I am saying that I think ALL politicians are slime bags and the ones who get busted in my opinion get busted because they broke their club rules and lost their club protections. And when they come out and say things like what I quoted in the OP, I tend to see that as them "spilling the beans".
