What if We Were Given An Entire Month To Vote? Pros? Cons?
Let's say that the polls were to open one month before Nov. 4th, and you could vote at any time of the week from say 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. What would be so wrong about that?
You can vote right now if you wish, Absentee. A lot of people vote well in advance of the regular election day voting. Mostly Republicans do this but more and more Democrats are figuring it out. Oregon has vote by mail and has had for a decade now. They get a month to fully understand the issues and candidates and their turn out rate is one of the highest in the nation.
