Him and his fucking trickle down economics has finally caught up with us.

Thanks, Ron, it looks like none of that additional wealth you created for the rich people ever trickled down to the middle class and poor people. The only thing trickling down to us from rich people is their DEBT.

2. Exactly
With all the talk about political partisanship being the problem, it's high time we fine-tune our criticism a little and place the blame where it really belongs--to a particular ideology which for years has found a home in the Republican Party. The ideology (along with the enabling support and timid acquiescence of others in both parties) has caused this problem. People don't seem to want to talk about "NeoCon ideology" in public, but that's exactly where the public should look to find the root of the current cancers affecting society...beginning with Ronald Reagan.

The vast majority of the citizens of this country have not been adequately introduced to what people like John Dean (Conservatives Without Conscience), and Thomas Frank (The Wrecking Crew) have been revealing. Authoritarian, arrogant, corporate elitist NeoCon politics have taken control of this country and nothing short of a fundamental change of mindset will reverse this trend. Nothing short of adopting a new ideology--hopefully led by Barack Obama--will replace the "trickle down" mindset of the past thirty years with the "trickle up" mindset that was at the very core of our nation's founding documents. it's time to reclaim that, and I certainly wish Obama, the supposed constitutional scholar, would give some speeches about that. We are the true patriots. We understand that this nation was founded out of rebellion against repressive, authoritarian politics. Why be ashamed to proclaim that?
