It's because they called it a "bailout". No wonder the voters were so against it. They should have called it a "rescue". "bail out" = not good "rescue" = good

1. imo voters were against it because they know that criminals run the administration...
It wasn't Congress' plan ~ it was Paulson's plan, modified.

3. That's better than bailout, that's for sure.
Bailout is too negative a term. Something with Rescue in it would have been the way to go.
