Poll question: Economic meltdown: What should the next step be?
This poll has only two options by design. If you aren't sure, please choose the option closest to your current stance.

However, I see the same happening down the road until people have JOBS.

On edit to add: Transparency. No golden parachutes, to start with.

9. Absolutely....it's all about jobs and income disparity...but we haven't
heard anyone bringing that subject up with this 'meltdown' or whatever it is. Michael Moore's piece said medical bills have caused many, many of the mortgage defaults and while I think he probably knows more about the actual numbers, I assume that job loss is another enormous factor.

16. Bail Out Homeowners & Job Mkt - NOT Wall Street
Create good jobs, not McJobs!, and provide safety net for homeowners.

Health care is good but majority of people aren't in danger of losing home just cuz of health but job loss.

4. No further action is needed .... Until the public wants it to happen.

The problem is not the bill. The problem is the state of the population, which is not yet sufficiently behind a bill. When they get behind it, then it will sail through.

7. I won't be hemmed into a false choice.
Just because Paulson et al won't consider other options doesn't mean we should all don the blinders.
