The reason the economy is bad is because of people who won't work.
The government is giving away too much money to people who refuse to work and are getting welfare. THAT'S the problem. I heard it today from a Republican. And its not Bush's fault at all because he doesn't know enough about the economy to screw it up.

Just wanted to share those pearls of wisdom...

1. Last week or so, I had a co-worker blame the Community Reinvestment Act
for the Wall Street meltdown. Like that caused Wall Street to push derivatives and mortgage as debt instruments.

12. I was talking to him about all the manufacturing jobs the US
has lost and he was totally denying it. He is in denial. I asked him to name a type of television that was made in the US... or a type of computer...I asked him where he shopped- Walmart. I asked him what percentage of goods bought at Walmart are made in the US and he said most of them. I told him to take a closer look. This is not a dumb guy- he is just not using his powers of observation.
