So, can the Senate vote on a bailout bill of their own?

Since the House bill failed, can the Senate vote on a version of a bailout and take another run at it? If the Senate can pass one it would then fall completely to the House, and I'd think that would put a lot of pressure on them with an election looming.

Is THAT how this is gonna play out?

All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.
