So, what happens now?
I seen many DUers who are frantic about a new Depression. How does that develop?

1. Shortages...
According to my 85-year-old great aunt in Tennessee... she told me yesterday to watch for shortages... after she praised me for stocking up on rice and beans.

2. Companies...especially those in retail... will stop being able to meet payroll

..because they wont be able to get short-term loans to cover their off-peak times.

The resulting unemployment will cause things to spiral even more.

Remember this day. It will affect you far beyond your ability to comprehend right now.

4. Now we start investigating...
the Wall St criminals who brought about this collapse with the mortgage loan ponzi scheme.

Hope we haven't forgotten that a crime wave of fraud stemming from years of deregulation is behind the current economic crisis?

6. What happens now is that we suffer the consequences, whatever they may be.
But I don't think we'll all be eating dirt by the end of the week.
