We should leave it alone because it's a lost cause
At least it's only 70% for McCain, and that says a lot.

7. I know it's a freep poll. But we can't let them have it. We have to defeat them on their own polls.

12. fuck that. every drudge click is money in his pocket.
I'd rather he had his widdle poll rather than the ad revenue from visiting that vile place.

13. How childish and useless
It's utterly meaningless to go around "DUing" polls. The only purpose it serves is to make the echo chamber crowd feel like they won something.

You're not going to change anybody's mind by spamming an online poll and undecideds are not going to look at an online poll and think "oh, this poll says Obama so that's who I will vote for".

Please spend your time doing something that really helps Obama.

21. Those who participate in defreeping of polls
are attempting to make it a little harder for the MSM to pronounce a GOP win in the debates, like they did for Bush in '00 and '04.
It may or may not be as necessary this time since they don't seem to be as obviously in the bag for McCain as they were for Bush.
I have participated in the DUing of polls and don't consider it any more a waste of my time than if I had instead sat here and helped myself to another handful of gummi worms.
As for your comment about spending time doing something that "really helps Obama", that's just good advice, no argument.

20. Afraid?? We got things to do, like registering voters. Let 1/3 of them vote Obama!
That's like revolutionary for Freepers! LOL.

22. It's 1:19 am where are you going to register a new voter at this time?
It only takes a couple of seconds to vote. If your not going to vote. Isn't it kinda hypocritical to be registering new voters? maybe we should take a vote on that. I'll vote on anything and I'll vote every chance I get. Be a role model for your newly registered voters and vote in this poll.

19. Waste of time
Drudge only caters to right wing wackos.

Let's target the MSM and local news sites instead. This is were leaners and indies might get more impressed.

That's what I think.
