How about THIS for a Bailout Plan:
I see that Secretary Paulson is worth $700 million...

There must be at least 1000 guys just like him* - they are the ones who got us all into this, so they should just bail themselves out. They could, you know - think about it. Do the math.

How about THAT, Mr. Fung?

1. something along those lines. I vote that we freeze all the assets of all the ceo's, etc, and use
that money to help straighten out this mess.

2. Right, because when you consider where...
all their money came from, it makes sense that the relevant firms would be in need of a "bailout" - or "rescue" - makes no difference to me what they call it. So Paulson made his money as chairman at Goldman Sachs, now he can help bail them out. I, on the other hand, have NO money, and never "worked" for Goldman Sachs.

To me, the logic is .99 fine.

3. How many people in this country have...
$700 million dollars? Surely there are enough to clean up this mess. We only need a thousand.
