I think people are forgetting the enormous amount that's already been handed to WS. I sure did until it was pointed it out to me earlier. Hat tip to Redbear for the info and link:

http://www.cnbc.com/id/26751385/site/14081545

If Congress passes the $700+ billion bailout on the table, the total figure "hoovered" up by WS will rise to over $1.6 TRILLION.

"Did We Say $700 Billion? We Meant...

$1.2 trillion!

The banking system needs another $500 billion to survive beyond the $700 billion rescue plan being contemplated by Congress, said Pimco founder Bill Gross."

4. They keep grabbing $23B here, $85B there etc. It adds up real quick.
I was floored when I read this article. I'm glad CNBC is keeping tabs and I recommend we all contact our Congress critters to remind them of how much we've already spent on bailouts.

7. Yes, I lost count of it all myself. This bailout is getting people's attention
...because it's almost 10 times the size of any of the past ones. It's HUGH!!1 But we shouldn't lose sight of what we taxpayers have already been saddled with by these crooks.

6. ENOUGH
America has had ENOUGH. But I am afraid Republicans don't think so. They know there is still a trillion or so they can abscond with.

9. The odd thing is the Repugs on the Hill are in revolt over this
I've been trying to find out if the Dems are too. According to an article I saw, seems only the leadership is supporting some form of bailout?....

10. Oh yes, would someone knowledgeable add something about the trillions in derivatives out there
...and what they mean in regard to this bailout and the future of the economy?
