Look! The owner of freerepublic.com agrees with Democrats:

The nightmarish raping of the taxpayer is far from over.

4. read this from the link:
The freepers think just like Duers but from the otherside!

Where are all the republicans? Is it because they don’t get in front of the mics or because the media won’t put them in front of the mics or cover them when they do have a mic?

Maybe it’s time to start the phones ringing again in Washington tomorrow!!

Who’s game?

They need to be out exposing the root causes of this...the democrats from Clinton on up!! The money that Obama has been racking in from every single bank, wall street firm and FReddie Mac/Fannie Mae that are involved in this mess!

If they do not start fighting back....we are going to lose!

LOL .. I pray you’re right. But I’m not expecting it.
It’s too tight a race, and they’re too dirty. Just praying.

5. Ha! The GOP is the party pushing this bailout bs
From Bush** and the Fed on down it's been a bum's rush. Even the corporate lobbyists know who the go-to party is -- they've been kanoodling with the Repubs all weekend to ensure no new regulations are included in the bill.

8. Bingo!
I noticed a few of them whining this weekend, like George Will & Co., who finally found out they are not really in the good ol' boys club. HAHA! :D

7. Here's an astute observation

Intricate, confusing and complex financial details aside, I think the whole bail out will come down to a game of chicken.

I just have a feeling Pelosi/Obama/Frank/Schumer are going to be stuck on more pork, mortgage relief and more $$ for the “American people and the chillun” ( vote buying ), unknown billions for various and sundry projects, and placement on boards, quid pro quo deals, etc.

The longer they hold out ..the longer it takes to get this finalized, the worse the markets will tumble. The Pubbies better be in front of the mikes every day naming names of the holdouts and their demands.

Hate to see people lose their hard-earned savings and retirement fund dollars, but I think it could take a 1,000 point stock market drop a day or two, complete panic and a total public outcry and backlash against the Dims to get this deal done.

They play dirty and don’t know when to stop. I have a feeling they could do that this week.

Well sure, let's just give them the $700BB tomorrow, no questions asked. It's truly amazing that, in the history of Democratic programs, no Republican has ever benefited. But why is it I always seem to take a hit when Republicans are in charge? We're anti-American when we want to look out for American interests. :eyes:
