Alaskan Republican Senator disrupts flight
Alaska State Senator Lesil McGuire caused a disturbance on an Alaska Airlines flight, including throwing a glass of water when flight attendants refused to serve her alcohol, authorities said. Witnesses told police McGuire was rude, used profanity, bad-mouthed the pilots and caused further delay by getting out of her seat.

An Anchorage airport police report of the Sept. 4 incident says the Anchorage Republican also continued using her BlackBerry after being asked to turn it off in preparation of the flight from Juneau to Anchorage. According to the report, McGuire continued texting, prompting the pilot to stop the plane as it was taxiing.

McGuire served three terms in the state House before being elected to the state Senate in 2006. She is married to former Rep. Tom Anderson, an Anchorage Republican who is serving a federal prison term on corruption charges.

3. According to this article...
http://www.adn.com/news/alaska/story/532387.html

she wasn't charged with anything resembling a crime. If it had been someone from the unwashed masses, the poor soul would be trussed-up like a Thanksgiving turkey and threatened with extraordinary rendition to Gitmo :grr:

5. No shit! Probably tasered to death as well.
Republicans are above the law. They never have to answer for a single fucking crime they do.

Mutherfuckers!

6. I hear all kinds of gossip about Lesil
but I'll keep it to myself. She's just lucky that she didn't get swept up in the other corruption indictments -- but there's still time. The FBI is still around, I hear.
