He's is saying we WEREN'T on the brink of total collapse.. He just took all the urgency out of it. He's just gone back to "do it this week" but not until he had already undercut his own argument.
4. I do not want him to be given the power to do "what he thinks is best"
without recourse. This is pretty frightening. I heard that Bloomberg's name was being bounce around as a non partisan alternative. I would favor that over Paulson as long as Bloomberg does have the right to do what he wants without question either.
