"Conservababes" offer a "prayer chain for Sarah"
I'm warning you. Proceed with caution. :puke:

======

I think that those of us here on Conservababes, especially if we are women, should offer a prayer for her and post it so that anyone that comes here can see that we conservatives support her and are praying for her.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank You today for Your blessings of sending Your Son so that we can be forgiven of our sins. And tonight Father I lift up in prayer my dear sister in Christ Sarah Palin. Father You see all and know all. You know that one of Your children is being assailed with nothing less than the most vile, hateful, untruthful, disgusting things imaginable. I ask Father that You be with her tonight and give her a restful nights sleep. I ask that You give her a peace that passes all understanding. I ask that You be with her tomorrow and help her deliver a great address.
I ask that You be with her husband Todd as he stands by her. How awful it must be for him to hear such awful things about his wife and not be able to do anything to help. Let him know that You can fight the battle for him.
Be with their precious children, especially Bristol. Help her not to feel guilty or that she brought this on her mom because we know that everything happens within Your timing. Comfort Bristol so that the small life she has inside her can be born with vitality.
And Father, be with Sen. McCain. Help him to see that he made the right choice and that Sarah was brought to his attention for a reason. Help him to have the courage of the same convictions that got him through those awful years as a P.O.W. And most of all give them both courage in the face of adversity. Remind them both that nothing can separate us from Your love and protection.

Finally, God I ask that Your will be done in all.

In Jesus Name,
Amen.

Sarah Palin for GOP VP! Because we Republicans aren't afraid of our women!

=====

Dear Lord.
I pray you take care of Sara Palin, and keep her strong.
And I pray for America this coming election. We are at a crossroad for good or evil.
And without your help, Lord, America will be lost.
Keep us strong.
Amen

=====

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

=====

She really is a gift from God.

Lord, fill her with your wisdom and strength and may she be blessed and comforted and safe and protected.

=====

Hubby has asked that we pray right now for Sarah and her safety and her family.

=====

"Be with their precious children, especially Bristol. Help her not to feel guilty or that she brought this on her mom because we know that everything happens within Your timing."

I'm sure He's :puke: at the convenient hypocrisy.

4. No, and it makes me apoplectic, this selective interpretation of circumstance
When white conservative teens get pregnant, "Oh, you can't control them." When it's minority teens, "Oh, the indecent parenting.

The irony is that better birth control education and availability answers both skews.

Or maybe excerpts from "Letters From The Earth"
I would pay money to be able to see their pointy little heads explode.

7. Hey, these are the same people that tried to have his books banned.
Even his one surviving daughter managed to keep Letters from publication until the late 60's (or early 70's. forgive me I don't remember the actual date).

I perused the site and was humored to see one of them using a quote from Cicero that is actually from an old Taylor Caldwell novel.

10. Did you know a woman's pregnancy lasts 270 days?
and this is somehow related to why Obama should not be president:

"(Obama) Has worked a grand total of 143 days in his career in the Senate. By way of comparison, a woman's pregnancy lasts approximately 270 days"
