If the Falcons beat the spread, the Federal Government will reimburse the money I lost and will make other middle class families pay for it. They're morally obligated to financially rescue Americans from the consequences of poor decisions.

1. No.They are only obligated to rescue rich americans.
You will get the "personal accountability" speech instead.

2. Well then I should at least be able to borrow $40 billion dollars
and put it on the Chiefs.

Finding a lender shouldn't be too hard, because there's no default risk. If the Falcons beat the spread and I can't pay back the loan, the government will buy the loan from the lender.

5. They play Miami and Cincinnati near the end of the season.
I think that gives them a pretty good shot at 1-15.

But the point is that having large holdings in securities backed by subprime mortgages is almost as stupid as putting money on the Chiefs.
