10. the lack of accountability is just mind boggling and then on top of the lack there of
they have the balls to get pissy about it, WTF? Anyone who thinks this isn't a banana republic has lost their damn mind.

15. most true; "accountability" yes! someone has to account for something...
somewhere sometime; republicans are well known for such antics, but it appears nobody even reads the bills they are signing, or questions a clearly tainted scenario; it is all so extremely disgusting to me

from some of Cheney's goons ordering him to get out there and lie his ass off like he's never lied his ass off before. He was melting down right on camera. It was sweet.

17. I think it's finally starting to sink in that ACCOUNTABILITY returned to DC last November.
Maybe not MUCH of it, so far...but to an "Administration"
as nakedly criminal as this one has been, ANY accountability
at all is lethal poison.

NOTHING the current incarnation of BushCabal™ has done can
withstand scrutiny. ANY scrutiny at all.

And there's a perfect STORM of scrutiny in the immediate forecast,
with a strong chance of investigations and intermittent prosecutions.

The "we can do whatever we want without question" party is OVER,
and Gonzales didn't figure that out until he saw the flashing
red lights in the front yard.

He was too drunk with power to recognize the end of the beginning,
when there was still a chance to reverse course and minimize some
of the imminent damage;
he just woke up and suddenly found himself at the beginning of the END.

He's utterly SCREWN, and so is the elephant he rode in on.
