Eddie Current is the name of the one-person band of songwriter/musician Edward Current. Edward has been recording music under the name Eddie Current since 1985.

Edward writes much of his music in frantic 12-hour immersive songwriting sessions — often resulting in short, unpolished songs, with all of the vocal and instrumental tracks created from scratch in just a few hours. Edward also makes comedy videos, mostly satirizing Evangelical Christianity; check his YouTube Channel for his latest project. (His most popular video to date is "The Atheist Delusion".) In March '06 his cartoon "The Democrats Get Balls!" won the Contagious Festival's Jury Prize (judges included Arianna Huffington and John Cusack) and was also featured on the Bravo Network.

Edward's non-sarcastic alter ego writes books for musicians, is a consulting editor for a magazine, and freelances as a video editor/motion graphics artist.

Edward's haploid DNA is available free of charge for the purpose of impregnating intelligent women who can sing and/or play a musical instrument. Information available on request.
