I gave a thumbs up to a nice woman donning an Obama sticker
yesterday. I've seen plenty of Obama stickers, but not as many Yard posts. I'm sad to say I have seen more McPain's, however this is from the Virginia area. Anyway, sharing a smile and a brief positive wave with a total stranger gave me a misty moment that I thought I would share! As far as to why there are fewer Obama stickers, I actually heard a rumor of a shortage! Please Virginia- show us your stuff!

3. In NoVA - started conversation today with woman wearing Obama pin
I had just put my groceries in the trunk of my car and she asked if she could have my cart. I saw that she was wearing an Obama pin, and I pointed out my Obama bumper sticker. We are both moms who have been helping locally in a presidential election for the first time (canvassing, phone banking, etc).

We talked for a long time and exchanged phone numbers and emails. I'm going to put her in touch with my friends -- groups of moms who are out trying to convince the undecided. Networking is the key.
