I am asking because I am one also and have been sending Barack and Joe Reiki a couple times a day. It would be nice if we could all do it. I think they could probably use the extra energy, given their schedules. Just a thought.

There has never been a good scientific study on the possibility of adverse cosmic energy interactions between orgone energy and reiki energy. And remember, they are positively awash in animal magnetism. You might throw their humors completely out of whack with this dangerous, unlicensed reiki practice.

Also, there is some evidence that excessive reiki focus on one person can have a locally detrimental effect on cell phone reception, causing cell phones to expend more energy searching for a signal. Not only will this cause problems for Mr Obama's phones battery life, but would *undoubtedly* also raise his risk for testicular, colon, and pancreatic cancers (assuming he keeps his cell phone in a lower pocket). Also, you might be interfering with his prayer-shield, which is the only thing standing in the way of the thousands imprecatory prayers prayed by the spiritual warriors of the Republican party. The fact is, this is a dangerous and irresponsible application of a little-understood power. It's not impossible that such an intense focus of reiki energy could cause the development of a singularity, immediately destroying everything in the vicinity of its focus (and possibly growing to engulf the entire planet, and a good portion of the solar system).

This is very, very irresponsible. People need to hear both sides of this.
