Dear Republican Woman I Know

I use to date this woman's son years ago. She and I have remained in contact via emails for years.
She was the one who first sent me the Obama is Muslim Email almost 2 years ago. At that time I wasn't following the campaign, but I blasted her then for sending me a letter that was clearly racist. She is White I am Black, and she has always treated me with great respect. She use to talk about me having her grandchildren. She has adopted daughters for Korea and Parts of Asia. She is not someone I would ever label racist or Prejudice. She does have some very strict rules based on her relious up bringing. I remember one being No Dancing.

Oh and she loves Animals, Here home was practically a Wildlife Rescue, in Fact the area she moved to she did it primerely to have more room for more animals. So honestly just on her love of animals alone, I can't understand why should would support Palin. And there's this, at the time I met her she was still very devasted by they sudden end of her 25 year marriage. Her husband had been cheating on her, and a month after he retired from the Army, he Divorced her and married the other woman A HOTTER YOUNGER BLONDE! ( sound familar)

So everytime she sends me an Anti-Obama email, my eyes get crossed b/c I just don't get it.

So this was my letter to her, If and when she righte me back I will post it under the title
"UPDATE Republican Female friend wrote me back!"


Hi Ms. P,
I wanted you write you this letter because I have so much respect for you, as a woman, and a mother.
I know you have a great heart for people, and animals.

However, I am completely confused at your political views at this moment. It's clear you don't support Obama, that is your right and freedom in this country not to do so. But, do you really find it easy to support McCain/ Palin. Palin strikes me as your polar opposite on a lot of issues I know you hold dear.

Did you know she sued George Bush to get Polar Bears taken off the endangered species list? She offered a $150.00 bounty for every wolf paw that was brought to her office. She wanted the wolf population lessened, because the wolves were killing to many moose, and the game hunters were angry.

She was against the band for the type of bullets that are design to rip through bullet proof vest. She signed off on the plan to charge rape victims for their evidence gathering kits. Can you imagine if god forbid you or someone you know got raped, and they can't afford the kit, so they don't even report the rapes. This was her plan to lessen the number of reported rapes in her state. The state with the highest cases of reported rapes and incest.

On to McCain, he has said, women can't be paid the same as men because they need more training and education. Once he told this horrific joke about a woman being raped by a gorilla, to the point of being beat unconscious. As the joke goes, when she finally woke she ask,"Where is he, where is that magnificent beast!" It been reported that he once called his wife a C--T. When asked about it, he never denied it.

He left his crippled wife, started cheating on his cripple wife with Cindy McCain 9 months before the marriage ended with Carol McCain. He also admits to several other affairs during the time between when he came home and when he married Cindy. He laughs about it as a mistake of his youth. HE WAS 40! He got his marriage license 1 month before his marriage ended. However, when asked about this discrepancy between the truth and what he says. His response on CNN was "well that was 30 years ago, I can't recall all the details." Although, when McCain is asked to talk about his time as a POW he can recall every moment without question or hesitation. Every wonder why, the so call "Greatest Moral failure of his life" can slip his mind? If my husband had cheated on me, I would be rather upset that he couldn't "recall the details."

Please, if you don't mind can you explain to me how you can support the McCain/ Palin Ticket?

I know one answer may be the abortion issue, please note, McCain in the past has said he does not want to Overturn Roe v Wade. Both Palin and McCain have said, they don't want to make it illegal, they want it to be a choice made by the states. What have they done to support those children that may have been aborted
i.e. special needs children? I can tell you Palin, cut the budget 62% for Special needs Kids in her state. She also sliced the Special Olympics budget in Half. So it seems they care a lot for the fetus, but very little for the human life once it's born.

I look forward to hearing from you. Please don't take this letter as an attack. To be honest where I live I don't know any women who are supporting McCain/Palin. So I am asking you because I have no one else to ask.
