Sick, racist O'Reilly calls Michelle Obama, an angry woman
http://mediamatters.org/items/200809170008?f=h_latest

That sick bastard. He needs to be taken off Fox News. I'm tired of his smear shit, while he lies about being smeared. I wonder why billo. You cannot question Sarah Palin at all, but you can call a black woman angry? You fuckin dirtbag, you scum.

Then the freeper from Human Events says that Michelle's whole career and life should be scruntinized. Really, fucking really now? Obama is only going to be first lady, but Palin could actually have the Presidency!! Fucking lunacy from Fox news.

What kind of world is this?

Sick, twisted fruitbats, the every last one of them.

We have to stop these people. Game on!

1. Angry Black Woman thing huh......I really hate his racist ass!
I know that I would go to jail if I ever ran into that guy anywhere. I don't go near that station because my health can't handle it. My blood boils whenever they speak! How the fuck is Michelle angry? We want to talk about her when McCain's wife is a freaking anorexic drug addict? OMG!

13. Consider the source of the comment
MO is probably one of the classiest woman I have seen on the campaign trail. People have compared her to Jackie O.

If anyone has the right to be angry I would think it would have to be Cindy McCain. She walks 3 feet behind him never beside him. I have never seen him show any affection towards her. She is just a thing on his arm and have you noticed that McCain can't be seen without a woman at his side be it his wife or Palin?

She is married to a misogynist who called her a cunt. In his 1992 Senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain's hair and said, "You're getting a little thin up there." McCain's face reddened, and he responded, "At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you cunt."

McCain offered her up to the topless beauty contest in Sturges. And he has a way of making crude gorilla sex jokes.

If I was married to someone like McCain I would stay pissed! And I would have left him long before now!

20. Welcome to DU
And what you said.

The whole "Angry Black Woman" is completely disgusting as well as racist. (Only one thing, I believe Michelle Obama, in today's world, has surpassed Jackie O. in every area. Ms. Kennedy was restrained by the expectations of women of her time, I often wonder what she would have been if only she had been "allowed")

he can't really figure out how else to harass her. With O'Reilly it's difficult to determine whether misogyny or racism is behind his attacks.

8. No doubt Bill is all those things.
And perhaps he does indeed seek to code his every utterance to rile up rednecks.

But if a woman is both black and angry how should she be described? I don't see MO as particularly angry in general although she does have a somewhat stern look and an impassioned speaking style that could be seen as such at times. It is of course silly to imagine she has never been or never seemed to be angry. Avoiding basic words with no intrinsic pejorative value based on the race of the person being described is not treating people equally. It is being condescending and patronizing.

Black women can be angry as much as anyone else. Heck they probably have more cause to be angry than most of us given their double dose opportunity for being discriminated against. Let's not add to that even in small measure by being twee and having to call them "irate" or "peeved" or some such nonsense.

16. angry black person is a fear tactic.
black people are expected to be angry because of our mistreatment. the truth is if you spend your life stressing about it, you have no quality of life. i have too much to do, no time to be angry. hillary used the tactic also. i saw alot of angry black man/woman posts and pics during the primary. we have to get o elected-no time for the racist crap from the right or left.

9. Michelle is so above this .
Michelle Obama, as a first lady, will make everyone in this country proud .
Mrs. Obama is way too cool, way too good, and way too smart to wallow in the mud with the likes of a Fixed News swine.
There's really only one way for the media or anyone else to view Barack's family:
A beautiful woman with two polite and well-behaved children.
This is simply yet another trick by the fascists to lure us into another distraction.

Cindy stole pills from her charity for her own habit. I really don't think Michelle can top that, as far as scandals go.

I actually enjoy listening to his radio show. I disagree with him on most things but he really does base his opinions on real information. Whether you agree with him or not he does provide good information. And he goes after the pedo's and the judges who let them off easy. Oh, and he's also against the war in Iraq and admits that his initial support for it was a mistake.

I especially liked the part when he told the son of a victim from the World trade Center to "shut up! Just shut up!" and kicked him off his show. That was, as you said, an opinion truly based on real information...

25. That's one of their latest forms of projection
They scream about liberals and leftists till the veins on their forehead bulge, and then they accuse the left of being "hate-filled" whenever they say anything even mildly negative about a Republican.

I've been watching the readers' comment section of our local paper lately, and you can really see the brainwashing at work. There's a mildly liberal opinion columnist, Nick Coleman (no relation to our smarmy senator), at the Star-Tribune, and no matter what he writes, the wingnuts pile on, lobbing gratuitous insults that have nothing to do with whatever he wrote. They don't even seem to get that he's an OPINION columnist, not a reporter, so they accuse him of being "biased."

Meanwhile, there's also an arch-conservative columnist named Katherine Kersten, who is obsessed with two topics: Muslims and the thought that someone, somewhere may be enjoying non-marital sex. The responses she gets from left-of-center types are sometimes abusive, but always in response to a specific topic, none of this overarching abuse that Nick Coleman gets: "Go back to Russia you commie pinko fag" or "The Red Star (I wonder which local radio ranter taught them that epithet, because they all use it) should fire you, you hate-filled poor excuse for a human being."

I waver between seeing the abuse as a sign of desperation and seeing it as a sign of deep-seated, indelible brainwashing.
