Fucking Bastards
I'm watching my small nest egg turn into a big pile of dogshit, right before my very eyes.

Fuck this administration.

McCain is going to fix this shit? I fucking doubt it.

Carly Fiorina, or whatever the fuck her name is, walks away with 40 mil after destroying a company's stock, the fed bails out the banks on our dime, and we continue to suffer.

Fucking evil bastards.

4. For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my
total lack of financial planning! Looks like my retirement plan (aka the lotto) might not be so silly after all. I am sorry that so many who did the right things will suffer...

6. You and every other middle class person.
I long for the days when a 401K or pension plan, actually MEANT something.

7. Yep, and...
I am rapidly moving from "lower middle class" to "fucking poor". Compound the stock market drop with having to use credit cards for basic expenses...not a good combo.

9. I pulled a 401K and put it in my savings.
I was losing money every quarter. At least, it won't grow any smaller in savings. I have an IRA that I am going to cash in while there is still something left.

It goes up nicely for a few years, then your gains are wiped out in a matter of a few days.

20. Between their LIES and my mistakes, I'm screwed.
I kept on thinking things hadn't changed THAT much and I'd be able to build it back up.

My sister, on the other hand, has been VERY proactive with her stuff and has been doing just under 30% these last several years on the average, by investing IN FOREIGN MARKETS. I got into precious metals a few+ years ago at least, but mostly I've been letting the money managers make most of the decisions.

17. At this point, if it weren't for the fact that they'd use it to KILL innocent people, it'd almost be
worth taking the tax hit on cashing all of it in, because you're going to loose as much or more with it in Wall Street's hands.

19. Depending upon how much you owe, it could be worth the taxes you're going to pay too, to get out
from under those fees and interest.
