Funny FR religious discussion (evolution. Catholicism)
I just think they're funny.

Vatican disses Jesus Christ the creator.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Flame away apostates

Looks like they’re adding credence to the generation of this new religion, scientism/naturalism/whateverism.

God created and guides evolution. What’s so difficult here?

Is God so simple that He can only create a one-time snapshot universe? Of course not.

Just as God guides the unfolding of a flower from seed to bud to full bloom, God can guide the continuous unfolding of the entire universe and everything in it.

God created evolution.

Just IMHO.

It’s worse than I thought! I wonder if the Pope is aware of this decision to “keep things scientific”? God is the original scientist....without considering God as the Creator, they are saying in effect man is god! Just what hands are they playing into?

“cannot be critically defined as being science, or philosophy or theology”

Now intelligent design cannot be defined as theology? WTF?

NO, God didn't create evolution! Only man needs evolution to exclude God from his thinking so man can be his own god.

If there is no creator, there is no need for a savior, and no judge for sin.

"Vatican disses Jesus Christ the creator."

Ummmm... Jesus was NOT the Creator.
